Peer Solidarity!

Peer Solidarity was coined by a co-founder of NEUROMANCERS (Aiyana Goodfellow) building on the idea of peer support. Peer Solidarity holds a particular focus on combining community healing with political education.

Our peer-led support programs use knowledge gained through direct, first-hand involvement in the various topics we aim to explore. Guided by resistance movements of past and present, we create spaces from a place of care and solidarity with wide-ranging themes all anchored in self-recovery and collective justice.

NEUROMANCERS knows neurodivergency is unbinary and unique to our own lived experiences, therefore our Peer Solidarity practices are not led by ‘experts’, psychologists, or counsellors but offer supportive spaces that exist beyond the state, the medical industrial complex and other institutions that fail to acknowledge systemic oppression.

NEUROMANCERS values joy, especially among trauma or hardship, even if it’s fleeting or short-lived. Peer Solidarity does not solely focus on pain but also celebrates love, autonomy, self-identity, collective care, and a more beautiful future for all neurodivergent people…
