In creating the Solar Survival Support Community, we wish to build a more specific and dedicated place for actionable mutual aid. We notice that financial mutual aid has, overtime, largely lost its effectiveness by becoming demanding, impersonal, and transactional. Furthermore, the practicability of 'social media mutual aid' is wildly unstable when money sharing platforms can simply shut down our accounts. Here, we want to build a more engaged culture whilst keeping to the accessibility of online survival support practices.

Solar Survival Support Community is open to all MMIND (mad, mentally ill, neurodivergent, and disabled people).
